What Should I Wear?

Whatever you are comfortable in.  You can come in your sweats or work clothes or going-out clothes.  You just kick off your shoes if it's the Himalayan Salt Room, the other rooms are completely private so we recommend the less you wear the better (Sauna and Float Rooms).  We have towels in all the rooms, which most people wear as they slip from room to room.  If you would like a robe, just ask.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Nope.  The less you bring the better.  We don't have lockers to encourage you to leave non-essentials in your car and just chill out.  Of course you can bring your phone, but maybe you can leave that in your car too and just unwind.   It's easier than you think once you are here and breathing in the Salt Rooms, Sauna or Float Tank.  We don't mind answering the phone if your babysitter or anyone needs to reach you in an emergency.  Our number is 732-366-9600 

Will I have the room all to myself/my party?

Yes. It' always just you, or whoever you come with.  Even in our large Himalayan Salt Room.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

We ask for 48 Hours notice (72 Hours for Takeovers).  We know life can be weird sometimes so everyone gets one "gimme" if you call as at least two hours ahead of your appointment time.  Due to how they affect the rest of the schedule this does not apply to Total Resets & Takovers.

Are children welcome?

You bet.  The Salt Rooms work for all ages and a special rate is applied at check out of $30 per child under 12.  (If you are making an online booking just use the Adult Rate for the adult(s) and leave a note saying you will be bringing children too). If it's a child under 1 you are still carrying around, they are free.  The Infrared Sauna and Float Room aren't suitable for small children but can work for older children in their mid-teens and upwards, once a parent is involved in the booking.

Can you accommodate People with Disabilities?

Absolutely. Tara is a national advocate for people with disabilities and we take pride in making our business as welcoming and useful to everyone as we can. We will make any possible accommodations for our clients with a physical or neurodiversity requirement.  Please just ask.  We are housed in an older building but it is wheelchair accessible. 


Please Note: Our bathroom is not ADA approved despite our best efforts, due to the older nature of the building, but will have one from summer, 2023.

Can I float during menstruation?

Yes. if you are comfortable swimming at this time, floating is not any different. 

What is this going to do for me?

Our homepage explains many of the common benefits.  Each therapy is subjective in what it will do for you in particular.  And often you will get slightly different results because you are always in a different place when you arrive.  We've been using our services frequently for years and we always feel like we get what we need  (feeling relaxed, falling asleep, meditating, reading, etc as the rooms do their work) - what you need, you tend to get, as your body gets into a relaxed state in response to the rooms' healing functions.  And then you feel awesome as you reemerge back into the world.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Messaging Terms at any time. Any such modification will take effect when it is posted to our website. You agree to review these Mobile Messaging Terms periodically to ensure that you are aware of any modifications. Your continued participation in the Program will constitute your acceptance of those modifications.
